Eagle Lake, Texas lost a good friend with the passing of Earl Rodgers on Sunday, September 30, 2012. He was a dear friend and will be missed. His sense of humor was one that will bring smiles to friends faces every time they think of him. He was the Quartermaster of VFW Post 8783 for over 35 years and was a charter member of that post. He was a fixture at the 10AM Summit Club at the local Dairy Queen for many years. He passed away only a week after his last attendance there.
