Cuban Missle Crises

I was in Peshawar, Pakistan spying on the Russians. I had picked up radio traffic that, although coded, was a pretty clear indication that something big was going on. Every radio op in the compound tuned into known Russian transmitters and our decode operators were able to pick up on what was going on. As our individual jobs were so secret that even we didn't know what we were doing, it took a day or so before we were informed as to what was going on. We ordered to radio silence and total blackout. I really didn't think I'd ever see the US again.
